Where in Peru do I travel for weddings?

I travel anywhere in Peru your wedding takes you, whether it's a hotel, a hacienda, a beach house or a vineyard. These are some of the destinations I travel to:

Cusco and the Sacred Valley

Hotels and haciendas in the city, Urubamba or Ollantaytambo, with sunny days and chilly nights.

Paracas and Ica

Oceanfront ceremonies or vineyard receptions, with strong sun and an afternoon breeze.

Arequipa

Colonial mansions, countryside estates and hotels, with dry air and bright daytime sun.

Máncora and the north coast

Beach weddings with heat, humidity and parties that go well past midnight.

Trujillo

Churches, ballrooms and country houses, with mild weather and a sea breeze.

Lunahuaná and around Lima

Country estates a few hours from Lima, made for daytime outdoor celebrations.

How the logistics work

Planning a wedding in Peru from abroad means a lot of moving pieces. Here's how we handle the makeup side:

1

Trial before the trip

If you live abroad, we start with a virtual consultation by video call to plan your look. If you land in Lima a few days early, we can do the trial in person at my studio in Magdalena del Mar.

2

Travel and lodging for my team

We arrange transport and a place to stay near where you'll be getting ready. Everything is spelled out in your quote.

3

We arrive the day before

That way your morning doesn't depend on a flight or a mountain road, and we can check the light and the room we'll be working in.

4

A timeline for the day

Based on your ceremony time, photos and party size, I build the schedule so you and everyone else are ready on time.

Makeup that holds up to altitude, sun and wind

Every destination is hard on skin in its own way, so the makeup has to be planned for it. I work with the armored skin technique (piel blindada): makeup applied and set in layers so it stands up to sweat, oil, wind and tears from the ceremony to the last dance.

Makeup for your mom, bridesmaids and the rest of your party

At a destination wedding, the easiest plan is for everyone to get ready in one place. I travel with my team to do makeup for the bride as well as her mom, godmothers, bridesmaids and any guests who'd like it. Depending on how many people there are, we decide how many artists travel, and I plan the schedule so everyone is ready before the ceremony.

Each look is tailored to that person's face and skin tone and coordinated with yours, so your group photos feel cohesive. Hairstyling can be added too, and if anyone in your party has mature or sensitive skin, I factor that in when choosing products. To see what each option includes, take a look at my bridal packages; for a destination wedding we start there and adjust the proposal for travel.

How to get a quote

No two destination weddings are alike, so there's no fixed price: your quote depends on the city, the venue and how many people we're doing makeup for. To send you a complete proposal, message me on WhatsApp with:

I'll send you a proposal covering makeup, travel and lodging for my team. If anything is unclear, we talk it through before you book. A deposit secures your date. Since a wedding outside Lima takes more than one day of my calendar, it's best to reach out as soon as your date is set.

Destination wedding makeup FAQs

Do you travel for weddings outside Lima?

Yes. My team and I travel from Lima to weddings in Cusco and the Sacred Valley, Paracas and Ica, Arequipa, Máncora and the north coast, Trujillo, Lunahuaná and other cities in Peru. Send me your date and venue on WhatsApp and I'll confirm my availability.

How are travel and accommodation for your team handled?

Travel and lodging for my team are built into your destination wedding quote, since they depend on the city, the venue and how many artists travel. I'll send you the full proposal on WhatsApp so you can look it over with no rush.

Can I do a makeup trial if I live abroad?

Yes. We can do a virtual consultation by video call before the wedding to plan your look. If you're arriving in Lima a few days early, we can also do the trial in person at my studio in Magdalena del Mar before you head to your destination.

Will my makeup hold up to the altitude in Cusco or the heat at the beach?

That's what the armored skin technique is for: I apply and set the makeup in layers so it resists sweat, oil, wind and tears. At altitude I add extra hydration for skin and lips; at the beach I focus on setting and making sure lashes stay put.

Can you also do makeup for my mom and bridesmaids?

Yes. I travel with my team to do makeup for the bride and her party: mom, godmothers, bridesmaids and guests. Depending on how many people there are, we decide how many artists travel and I plan a schedule so everyone is ready on time.

How far in advance should I book a destination wedding?

As soon as you have your date and venue. A wedding outside Lima takes more than one day of my calendar because of travel, so it's best to lock it in early, especially for weekends and peak wedding season.
